CONTRIBUTE TO THE ENDOWMENT FUND In order to ensure an enduring legacy of fine music in the Placitas community, PAS created an endowment fund, which is now securely maintained and managed by the Albuquerque Community Foundation. Remember, also, that many companies match gifts to charitable organizations, and that PAS is a qualified organization for such matching, as well as for tax-free distributions from qualified investment funds. Placitas Artists Series is a volunteer-supported organization, with an active board of directors, and a group of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers provide support to concerts and art exhibits, serve as ushers at concerts, work in committee to choose future performances, support art exhibits and exhibit hangings, assist with fundraising, set up special events, and so much more. Board members serve as organization leadership in the areas of musical programming, visual arts, publicity and marketing, house management, information technology, and the executive functions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
