Outreach to Our Community

As we approach our 31st year, the Placitas Artists Series (PAS) Outreach Program continues to provide the students, leaders, and other adults of Southern Sandoval County with a wide variety of performances including music, theatre, and dance. The mission of Outreach is to expand children’s awareness of the greater world community. read more Materials needed by schools to apply: 2017-2018 School Program Book School Application Art Standards for Program Choices NM Standard 8
Music Students PAS focuses on encouraging young people to experience the excitement of live performance. We offer reduced admission for students who attend our concerts. Music students through grade twelve are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult. Introduce a youngster you know to the joys of being “right there” when music is played. Senior Citizen Tickets PAS offers a limited number of free concert tickets through Senior/Community Centers in Sandoval County where they are distributed by program managers. Just for Fun! Each year volunteers and board members of PAS decorate a float to ride, and assemble its “Kazoo Philharmonic” to play in the Placitas 4th of July parade. This event fosters and builds community spirit and it’s also Just For Fun!
