"My photography career spans over thirty years, originally in color with Cibachrome printing and then in fine art black and white film photography, developing and printing in my own darkroom. I was taught by some of the finest printers in America. In the last five years I have converted to digital photography which provides greater control and freedom of expression in both color and black and white. I enjoy exploring new and diverse creative techniques. I use the images that I shoot as a basis from which to create my vision of the scene I captured, not just a reproduction of the original scene. Sometimes, elements of various images are combined in a composite to create a new and hopefully challenging image. The works presented are generally traditional landscapes, composites depicting non-real but potentially real images, and selected infrared images that introduce a fascinating and different view of our world. All prints are on fine art papers and archivally matted."
